The Aurora Municipal Airport is located two miles north of Aurora on Nebraska Highway 14. Facilities include a 4,300 by 75 foot hard-surfaced and lighted runway with a 200 foot grass overrun, parallel taxiway, lighted windtree, radiobeacon, hangar space for 28 airplanes, and a newly installed Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system and no landing fees. Services include major and minor repairs, courtesy car, unicom/common traffic advisory frequency 122.80, 100 octane fuel, clean rest rooms, and a flight planning area with a weather observation/prediction capabilities.

Aurora Municipal (KAUH) is located at 40° 53.64´ N, 97° 59.67´ W, and can be found on the Omaha Sectional chart. The airport is served by the AUH Non-directional beacon frequency 278 kHz and is located 15.5 DME from the Grand Island VOR (GRI) on the 103° radial. Unicom/CTAF is available on 122.80 MHz and AWOS weather reports are broadcast on 121.225 MHz or by calling (402) 694-5472. IFR operations can be conducted through Columbus radio on 122.40 MHz and Minneapolis center on 119.40 MHz. Aurora Municipal Airport is served by GPS, RNAV, NDB and VOR approachs. Airport elevation is 1804' MSL.

Scheduled air service is available at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport near Grand Island, 20 miles west of Aurora, and at the Lincoln Municipal Airport, 70 miles east. Passenger, air express, and freight services are provided. Rental cars and taxi services are also available.
